BIO
Anthony M(archese) was born on September 3, 1987. Raised on Staten Island, NY, music was a part of his life from a young age. Listening to his father’s Dion and Frankie Valli records, he began an appreciation for quality music as young as age 5. It was singing along to these records that his parents recognized singing as a talent in their young son and nurtured it every chance they got.

As he got older, his taste in music evolved. Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Notorious BIG and 2pac CD’s littered his room as he began to take on an appreciation for the best of the best in music in all genres.

“Once I heard Biggie, I became obsessed with hip hop. I started listening not only to him and 2pac, but the innovators and originators. Then I heard "Beat It" and I became obessesed with MJ and the men who inspired him like Jackie Wilson and the Temptations. Then Dion and The Four Seasons and the Four Tops. I had an Erik B and Rakim CD in my bag right next to 'Thriller.' I wanted to consume as much music as possible no matter what the genre. To me, there were no genres. Good music is good music and I’ve seen it that way since I was young.”

It was this philosophy that would define his song writing style in the years to come.

His teenage years saw him taking on song writing as a new challenge. Writing from the age of 14 the songs began to pile up, but in his bedroom is where they stayed. It wasn’t until the age of 18 that Anthony found a way he would be comfortable to share his music with the world.

“I created this alter ego. He was me, only amplified. If I was charming, he is Don Juan. If I was smart, he is Einstein. If I was talented, he is a SUPERSTAR. He’s an unstoppable force with music flowing through his veins and electricity surrounding him.”

This became an open door for Anthony. His writing began to get recognized for its originality, catchiness, and appeal to the masses. Mixed with his smooth voice, charming personality, and no games attitude, Anthony was a hit with the men and women fans alike. Now in talks with big names in the music industry, Anthony poises himself to be the next big name in pop, hip hop, R&B…or just plain all of music.
